Wartrol
Update: As of May 2011, Wartrol is no longer appropriate for use on genital warts. Wartrol continues to be an effective remedy for general warts on the hands and feet. Wartrol is a all-natural homeopathic treatment of genital warts for both men and women. Genital warts are caused by a virus called HPV (Human Papillova Virus), and are highly contagious. While there is no known cure for the HPV virus, Wartrol is designed to relieve the symptoms that occur during an outbreak. Wartrol is applied under the tongue using a medicine dropper, causing it to be directly absorbed into the bloodstream. Even if the symptoms disappear, the virus remains in the body, so it's important to see a doctor if you have HPV, especially if you may be pregnant. The virus can cause a multitude of symptoms, and not every infected person will experience each symptom. The manufacturer of Wartrol claims the product helps relieve: itchy skin, dry skin with liver spots, pimples and postules in the groin area, burning in the rectum, blisters and uclers on the mouth, tongue, and genital area. While the product can be expected to relieve symptoms of HPV, there is no cure for the virus, and you are strongly advised to discuss your condition with your doctor if you have not already done so. Also, people who are allergic to alcohol should not use Wartrol, or any homeopathic product (all of which contain alcohol).
