Diet Watch is an online dieting membership site that helps dieters keep track of
the foods and calories consumed, and the number of calories burned off through exercise each day. It can be used
to track any popular diet plan including Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem, or Atkins; or the dieter can
choose one of four diet plans offered through Diet Watch which include a No Restrictions Diet, a Low Carb Diet,
a heart-healthy Mediteranean diet, or a Vegetarian diet that eliminates beef, pork, chicken, and fish but does
include eggs and dairy products.
The Diet Watch diet plan consists of four main areas including nutrition, exercise, feeling good and support.
The nutritional component includes meal planning, shopping lists, nutritional tracker and automatic reminders and
alerts. The exercise component provides a personalized exercise plan and exercise tracking. The feeling good area
helps dieters control emotional eating, manage body image, set goals and develop positive thinking. The community
support includes daily weight loss tips, expert advice, chat rooms, messaging and find-a-friend program.
